| Description | Earth Day is April 22. We heard Michael's message about the Earth's emergency and we need to act now, to make sure the world hears it. There is time to make environmental resolutions to honor Michael or add resolutions to spread Michael's messages about the Earth's emergency. What are your plans to honor Michael? Or what have you been doing to to protect the environment that you would like to share? Each of us has a voice and we must use it. Speaking out is free and doesn't cost anything. Each of us has love, and we must use it. Showing love for our earth is free and doesn't cost anything.
On this day I want Michael to see us from heaven and be especially proud.
I'm going to donate one copy each of Michael's Video Greatest Hits History Volume I & II 2 dvds, plus the Dangerous Short Filmsds dvd. The Earth Song video is part of this collection that I will give to my local library.
This is a start and I will build a nice Michael collection of truthful books and donate them to the library to honor Michael and reach a large number of people for many years to come.
For this Spring and Summer I'm also going to buy an aluminum push mower, the kind with rolling blades that you sharpen, for grass cutting, and no longer use my gas powered lawn mower at all. This will eliminate exhaust and noise pollution, also making it much safer for the wild rabbits that eat the grass and other wildlife all around my house.
Since New Year's Day I no longer bring plastic bags home from any store. I use reusable cloth bags that I carry into the store. I switched to phosphate free soap products and I continue to read labels so that I only buy safe/safer products. I changed to environmentally safe household cleaning products. I take anything possible to recycling and I take other people's stuff to recycling as well when I see them throwing things in the trash that are recyclable. I conserve everything possible including water and electricity. I am very careful not to waste food. I hang my clothes to dry inside and use my clothes lines outside in the Spring and Summer instead of using the electric dryer.
Perhaps we can suggest ideas for environmental protection to each other here in this group and how to spread Michael's environmental messages to the world? |
