Thank you, Michael

For dedicating your life--from the time you were a little boy--to music, and using the gifts I'm sure you knew God gave you to use.--Even if you missed out on being a kid, and doing the things other little kids our age did.  I fully understand what it must  have been like for you to be hard at work while all the other little kids were outside having fun.   Although I never met you, I feel as if I've always known you, and when you said you built Neverland ranch because you wanted to do what you were never able to do when you were a kid, my heart went out to you. 

You once said you wanted to be the best because you wanted to be loved.  Well, sweetheart, I believe you got your wish.  I love you, Michael.  Thank you for being the most generous, caring person in the music business.  Thank you for never giving up and packing it in, even when there were times when you felt so sad, or lonely, you wished all you could do was disappear.  Thank you for your awesome talent, your charisma, your sex appeal, and your stage presence, as well as your humbleness, kindness and patience.   Thank you for everything, dear heart.  You will never be alone.  You will always be in my heart.
